Reasonable Cause Inc. and Opportunity Cambodia have entered into a joint project agreement to deliver university scholarships to disadvantaged young adults.
Tertiary education participation rates in Cambodia are low, being only 15% (as at 2019) while the global rate was 39%. Even when compared to neighbouring countries Cambodia struggles, with Vietnam having a participation rate of 29% (as at 2019) and Thailand having a participation rate of 49% (as at 2016).1 Reasonable Cause Inc. and Opportunity Cambodia share the belief that a tertiary education will empower young people and transform their lives. We are committed to jointly providing the necessary resources to ensure that our university students have all they require to succeed.
