The men of “Good Blokes Golf” together with Reasonable Cause Inc. and This Life Inc. conduct a joint project to fund disadvantaged young Cambodians to obtain a government recognised trade qualifications as motorbike mechanics, or “Moto Doctors.” These young people come from poor backgrounds with families who could not afford for their children to complete high school. Some them may have had a brush with the law and been referred to the program in lieu of suffering sterner punishment. The program leads to viable stable skilled employment. There are also opportunities for “seed money” to graduates to start their own motorbike repair businesses.
